Qawra is situated on the north-east of the island of Malta, and forms part of St. Paul's Bay along with the town of Buggiba. Although there is no real beach to speak of, sun lovers and swimmers take advantage of the rock scenery which provides ample space for sunbathing and a great platform for diving.
Watersports feature highly here, and tourists can enjoy pursuits such as jetskiing, speed boat rides and the infamous banana boat as well as diving and fishing.
Qawra is home to the nightclub Fuego which offers a salsa themed experience and is considered to be one of the best clubs in Malta. There are also a plethora of cafes, bars and restaurants to be found here, catering for even the most discerning tastes.
